Kellan Lutz: Breaking Dawn Has A Lot More Skin
First Published: October 18, 2011 3:56 PM EDT Credit: Getty Images LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Kellan Lutz attends the Tommy Hilfiger Mens Spring 2012 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Highline on September 9, 2011Kellan Lutz says the upcoming Breaking Dawn, the fourth film in The Twilight Saga, is a lot more mature than its predecessors. Theres a lot more skin, first of all. Its for a more mature audience. Our audience has grown up with us, and we have to grow along with them, he told The Advocate, when asked if director Bill Condon brought a gay sensibility to the franchise. The original high school fans are in college now, and they want to see more skin. Bill has Taylor Lautner topless all the time, so theres some great eye-candy. We have so many cast members in the movie, I wouldnt be surprised if one of the characters was gay and I just didnt know it. Id be all for it, he added. Kellan himself has been plagued with a gay rumor or two, but the straight actor told the mag, its likely due to his dating style. I dont Google myself, but Ive heard that people think Im gay. Ive heard it all, the actor told the magazine. See, I dont really go after girls. Most of the girlfriends Ive had have come after me. The actor said his laid-back romance style has prompted girls to say things about his sexuality. Its really funny when girls get offended because I dont hit on them. Theyll transform their insecurity into, Oh, that makes sense, because I heard youre into guys and have a boyfriend. Im like, Seriously? Thats your tactic to get me to like you? There will always be rumors, but I know who I am, he added. And one of the things Kellan knows about himself is that he likes a tidy home. Honestly, Id prefer to live with gay guys, he told The Advocate of his roommate preferences. Theyre the cleanest, and they just take care of stuff. Because Im always away, coming home to a clean house means a lot to me. Trust me, Ive lived with a lot of roommates, and straight guys are just kids who dont pick up after themselves.
